whew! i'm pooped!

I JUST finished going through all the blogs that were/are hosting giveaways. It's a LOOOOOOONG list. I'm happy to see that so many of you have entered my giveaway. My blog was listed further down on the list, and by the time I got to it I was fighting the heavy lids - so thanks for sticking it out!

I'm overwhelmed by sheer volume of traffic to my little blog - let alone all of the dear comments! I spent the earlier part of yesterday emailing everyone back as they commented (if they had an email linked to their username) and didn't get to looking at the other giveaways until later in the day. Plus I cooked our turkey and had Thankgiving III. And little guy's got another ear infection! Like I said, I'm pooped.

I thought maybe I'd get 20, maybe if I was lucky 50 comments - and wow! I think we're at 250 right now. I've had fun looking at your blogs (I still have many more to go) and appreciate all the creative juices flowing out there. And I'm really sorry I won't be able to contact everyone who has entered.

I think one of the things I am really loving after seeing what everyone is doing is all the little birdie silhouettes. So sweet. I know, I know, I'm slow on the uptake and owls will be the new hot thing - but I still like the birds. Especially blue ones. And these little pink ones: (by Melanie of Whimsical Creations)

I've got something up my sleeve about the pillows - but I'll have to tell you later.

I'm so tired I don't even have the energy to tell you about the dream I had last night where Amy Butler and I were BFFs and she called me up to just go to lunch. I think I would die. In fact I'm pretty sure I would be more starstruck meeting her than anyone in Hollywood.
Okay, except maybe Sawyer from LOST.
